Leptosyne calliopsidea is a species of flowering plant in the daisy family known by the common name Leafstem Tickseed. It is endemic to California and found in coastal ranges as well as desert, inland, and mountain areas.
This plant grows anywhere from 1-3 ft tall with yellow flowers that are 1-2 inches wide. It is an annual that blooms in spring time and prefers sandy fast draining soils and full sun. It can tolerate alkaline soil as well.
This gorgeous flower is one of my favorite California native wildflowers! The color is just as beautiful as the scent. Packet will contain 30 seeds. Feel free to reach out with any questions.
