Emory' Rockdaisy is found in the southwest United States in AZ, CA, NV and UT. It occurs primarily in AZ and CA. Emory's Rockdaisy is also native to Baja California where it is found throughout the entire region and to northwest Mexico as well as South America.

It has showy white and yellow flowers, and their seeds and plants may be visited by hummingbirds and/or small mammals including rodents and granivorous birds in search of nectar or food.

Blooming period: January or February to October and November - may flower year-round.

Prefers Various habitats, lower deserts primarily, rocky hillsides and rocky cliffs, sandy or gravelly soil, desert washes; often associated with Creosote (Larrea) Bush Scrub and Coastal Sage Scrub in California.
