Chaparral clematis (Clematis lasiantha) is a vine with profuse small white blooms followed by fluffy attractive seed heads. Chaparral clematis is in the buttercup family that is native to the north-central Pacific coast and up to the western foothills of the Sierra Nevada. It grows on hillsides, in chaparral, and in open woodland.

The flowers attract butterflies.

Gardeners value chaparral clematis for its long flowering season, nearly six months in spring and summer. The rich texture of its leaves is another benefit. It is easy to grow, and grows fast up to 15 feet. It will adorn a fence, an arbor or a pergola or wind through shrubs and trees.

Packet will contain 20+ seeds.
